Recently a work I had a problem with a tape drive.  We send a 175 Megabyte file out on 9-track tape.  My machine would write part of the file to tape then wouldexit as though it were done.  The problem turned out to be a bug in COMMAND.com that allows only 32 megabytes to be transfered.  Stupid gits.  SO if you have this problem, get a new version of DOS or get the patch from Micro-Soft.
