I reads and writes ok but cannot do multivolume backups as it times out after 3 minutes instead of issuing an operator request. It is ok if you hang around and chuck the tape in when you notice the first volume has been rewound. I am using the standard mkdriver supplied by Digital. Is there a patch? I would be grateful for any help. Pam Cohen, Research School of Chemistry, The Australian National University pam@rsc0.anu.edu.au
