I need to connect a MAC to a UNIX box over a noisy line. Does
anyone know of either a SLIP implementation for the MAC or some other
error tolerant protocol interface to the serial ports?

NCSA telnet won't work, because the MAC will be transmitting the output
from a program, not interactions with a user.
