If have more dumb serial ports which can be configured to use unique
interrupt levels other than IRQ3 and IRQ4, you could just load the SLIP
packet drivers a few more times, once for each of the ports.

Some limiting factors are:  the number of free IRQ levels, the number
of free packet driver INT's, the amount of free CPU cycles, and the
amount of free memory.
