Environment: Andrew from X11R4 tapes with patches 1-6, X11R4 patchlevel 14
        on Sun3 with os 4.0.3

After applying patch 6 and rebuilding the Andrew system I get core dumps at
a very irregular basis - messages doesn't run at all (I've linked against
/usr/lib/libresolv.a - that shouldn't be the problem - or is it?).
I don't have any clue where to start looking - everything worked fine at
patchlevel 5.
