I still like many of its features and never found anyone with ATalkIII to try out, so I've been sticking with it. Anyway, in 2.0 mode the screen that OnLine! opens is about 4 times as long as workbench. This has the effect that everyth scrolls down off the screen and I have to keep clearing the screen so I can see what is happening. I suppose this is caused by the new display modes, etc., but it is annoying and I DON'T like having to reboot into 1.3. BTW. Thanks to whomever wrote that reboot utility that lets you do that WITHOUT having to power down/up. Anyway, what I'd like to know is: 1. Does anyone KNOW what is specifically wrong with OnLine! (Platinum) that causes this behavior? And, is there a fix? 2. Does anyone know if ATalkIII has ANY flakiness with 2.0 and the A3000? Also, what is the most current version I should get? I plan to order from Safe Harbor. I'd use the Oxxi tradein, but I think I come out just about even cost-wise using mailorder. BTW. That is a real pet peeve of mine. Upgrades cost almost as much as buying something mailorder for many products. A lot of time, its just a waste of time to upgrade, easier and cheaper to order through the mail. Tommorow I start learning AmigaVision, which by the way was NOT shipped WITH my machine, nor was there any coupon. So, it looks like that is still some kind of problem for Commodore. My unit is the latest A3000-16/50, so it wasn't sitting around up there.
