Here in the US, the _Programmer's Guide to the Amiga by Rob Peck (Sybex 1987) is considered quite good, but Yen for Yen you won't go wrong if you get the Amiga Rom Kernel Reference Manual, Addison-Wesley 1990. There are three volumes, and if you only get one, get Libraries & Devices. It is about $35 US, but well worth it at over 900 large pages filled with well written tiny print. You can also buy more technical info at a very reasonable price from Commodore.
