I have been considering including some of the more interesting posts from this (and other) newsgroups in my club's monthly electronic newsletter. I assume that anything posted to this group is PD---please correct me if I am mistaken. (I will attempt to contact the authors of the articles I am considering, but does it matter if I don't reach them?) Currently, a great review of X*PRESS, a couple of historical articles, a (very) recent interview with Helmut Jost, and a short discussion about compression are at the top of the list.
