Keywords: Thanks, ProPage, CAD, Draw, AmigaVision Message-ID: <4149@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu> Date: 3 Oct 90 20:49:29 GMT Sender: usenet@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu Reply-To: consp13@bingsuns.cc.binghamton.edu (Marcus Cannava) Organization: SUNY Binghamton Lines: 38 I received so many replies to my quest for a Mac-Draw-esque program for the Amiga that a net-wide post of thanks (and a summary of the results) is in order. My requirements: An object-oriented, full design/drawing program with high-quality font support and PostScript output, if possible. Some desktop publishing features would also be nice. 'Snap-To-Grid' and 'Align-to-Grid' were also important features. The top-rated suggestion was to go with Professional Draw 2.0 from Gold Disk, reasons being: 1. PostScript support 2. High-Quality output 3. Outline Fonts (Gold Disk's, not the AGFA standard) 4. Full Color support 5. Alignment features similar to MacDraw II Other suggested packages were: Pagestream Aegis Draw Deluxe Paint III (No PostScript support) IntroCAD (Uses 'Plotted' Fonts) I thank you all for replying so quickly and with such volume! Your suggestions were greatly appreciated. \marc === 'I do not fear computers.. I fear the lack of them' -- I. Asimov RNM
