I did all the resistor termination stuff, set up and installation. Now I seem to be running into some problems. Verify data on drive finds no errors when the disk is blank. If I write data to the disk, (the World Data Bank files are great for filling a hard drive) and then verify data, the drive reports errors on various blocks (seemingly, the blocks with data). There is no pattern (head number, cylinder, etc) to the errors, that I can tell. I set "supports reselection" to no on both drives, and the cableing is a simple daisy chain. Has anyone seen similar problems? Should I return the drive as DOA? thanks, dylan -- dylan mcnamee "...I put the Mu in Mother Goose, dylan@cs.washington.edu the Doc in Doctor Seuss..." Young MC
