Inside an Amiga 1000 there are four empty IC sockets where you can put 27512 eproms and supposingly you could program Kickstart on four 27512's and with a proper address decoding A1000 should be able to use the EPROMs instead of loading Kickstart from the disk. Although I thought it would be that easy, I encounterd a great problem, the Amiga wouldn't boot. Has anybody tried the same, and is there a way to get it working ? Please send me mail and I'll summarize the answers if anybody else is interes- ted.
