The fan in my diskless DN2500 has suddenly gotten
quite noisy.  My questions are:
(1) Why would a relatively quiet fan suddenly
    be noisy?
(2) Is there an easy way to quiet the fan again?
(3) Can the machine be run without a fan (after
    all, it doesn't have a disk!)?
