(Sub Battle Simulator, Destroyer, Tomahawk, Silent Service, etc) You need to do a bunch of trig calculations for dealing with objects in motion thru a 3d space. Also, the display would also need to use trig stuff in order to get the perspectives right. AppleWorks GS probably also uses SANE.
