I'll have to look, but if Proterm supports your modem it is probably a good way to go. The VT100 emulation and kermit have worked very well with all the Unix and Vax systems, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on an IBM setup. Actually it's the only modem program I've seen that doesn't mess up VT100 in some way. Both Mousetalk and Smart Term would garble my screen when running Oracle on a Vax, but not Proterm.
