I've got a mono monitor for any serious work and a simple old colour TV for colour(i.e.games). The TV is connected via the aerial socket (no SCART socket) and the monitor by the monitor port. The problem is that if the monitor is plugged in the back the machine always boots into high res, even if the monitor is switched off. This means that I have to unplug the monitor whenever I want to use the TV. Is there any known fix for this? I don't mind a bit of soldering in the back of the ST but an external solution is preferred. I'm running an STe with 2Mb RAM. Answers on the back of a postcard to: csual@uk.ac.warwick.cu Cheers, Jas.
