I just got access to the atari ftp archive in the University of Michigan. I even got some XLISP files from it. But now I can't get them to my atari ST. I am using Uniterm, and I purchased InterLink. But the kermit program on this Amdahl UTS machine and the Kermit program from the VAX/VMS always gives me an error on the 4th packet. I have tried all three checking techiniques that Uniterm has (CRC CHK1 CHK2), but they all fail. I have no trouble on ASCII files, just on binary ones. I do use ftp in the "I" (image) mode which I invoke by issueing the ftp command "binary". Please send me some ideas. I'm so close to heaven, but I can't get up the last step. Please send mail to "tamuts.tamu.edu!n160ao" and not to the whole net. Thanks. Mark Lehmann tamuts.tamu.edu!n160ao
