I would suppose that many people would modify an existing cartridge with a socket ... is that your experience, anyone who's done this? As well, is there any special format for the data on the (E)PROM--magic cookies, etc. Also, is there any extra circuitry required for things like the acknowledge signal to the processor, or does the "MMU" take care of this?
