When you look at the contents of the file, they resemble the files that I create when I upload the contents of a variable or directory to my pc from the 48. The only difference I have found is that my files are turned into the correct variables/directories when downloaded back to the 48, and thier files are turned into strings ("HPHP48-A...."). Am I doing something wrong? Is there some thing has to be done to these files before they are usable? (An example file would be the file called music.a) Thanks for any help! David R.
