The HP 300 was an old (1978 or so) proprietary architecture that never made it out the door. This was before the "300" designator was sucked up by the Workstation folks for the followon to the 98xx/99xx series (which were re-named the HP 9000 series 2xx) Unix/Basic/Pascal workstations. ---- Shankar Unni.
