Message-ID: Date: 27 Sep 90 04:53:56 GMT Organization: Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA Lines: 26 If my memory serves me correct, the new Nec 3D supports 1024x768 in interlace mode (this is the only way to get 1024x768, that I've ever heard of). As for the video card ... there are a few which supports 1024x768. There is the Paradise VGA 1024 (I recommend this one) the ATI VGA 1024 (or something like that) or the Orchid Prodesigner II. You will definitely need 1MB of memory to run the video card in 1024x768. There is no other way of doing it. However, you have one alternative. Buy the 512KB version of the card and add your own memory (usually, they are 41000-80 chips, 8 or 9 of them depending on the card). I hope this information helps. __________ ___ / \ / / /-/ / /\/ _/ / / / __/. /__ / / / / / / / / "Happy Computing ..." / / ARPAnet: Johnny.J.Chin@andrew.cmu.edu / ------- / 4730 Centre Ave. #412 BITnet: jc58@andrew \__________/ Pittsburgh, PA 15213 UUCP: ...!uunet!andrew.cmu.edu!jc58 Computer Dr. ______________________________________________________________________________ Disclaimer: The views expressed herein are STRICTLY my own, and not CMU's.
