I am using the National DP8392 Tranceiver chip. There is a connection diagram given in the data book and I built one exactly as it says except that I didn't use a DC-DC converter and a separate 9V supply is used. However, it doesn't work. I am pretty sure that the wirings are correct. I check with a CRO and found that it can receive since output is observed at the receive pair. I couldn't figure out how to test the transmitting though. Anyone built that circuit before? Is the circuit given in the data book correct? Any tips will be great. _____________________________________________________________________________ | Kevin WONG | ACSnet : kklw@mullian.ee.mu.OZ | | Department of Elec Engineering | internet : kklw@mullian.ee.mu.OZ.AU | | University of Melbourne | uunet : uunet!munnari!mullian!kklw |
