It has one card slot, which I have other use for, so I've had to use an external modem. Now there is space and special slot inside the machine for a custom modem Olivetti makes just for it (or rather the Olivetti M111/M211/M316 series), which would be ideal for me. Unfortunately this isn't available in Finland. (Why? Because selling it here would require getting official approval which costs too much for so small quantities. Using an unapproved modem is not punishable, however, it only makes the user liable for any damages it causes, and if it passes EC regulations the chances of it causing damage here are nil.) Is there anyone out there who would be able and willing to help me get one? I'll pay any (reasonable) expenses. Getting it by mail would be easiest, but if you know of a place somewhere in Europe or USA where one could be picked up I could handle the rest. Please reply by e-mail (Reply should work, if not try tarvaine@jyu.fi). Hopefully, -- Tapani Tarvainen (tarvaine@jyu.fi, tarvainen@finjyu.bitnet)
