Have used SpinRite II v1.1 on a Plus HardCard II with very good
results...also on Quantum IDE drives.  However, it will not
deal with RLL drives with 17-sector translation enabled (as in
the Western Digital 27X controller)...you've got to pull the
proper jumpers and hardware low-level format the drive in that
case.
