I would also be interested in hearing about people's experiences with
ear training and chord recognition packages.  A month or two ago someone
posted the binaries to a set of packages that did that.  I grabbed them,
and looked at them, but now can't find them on my hard disk.  
Only thing that I remember
(vaguely) is that the guy who wrote them was from Boston.  Can anybody
provide more information?
