Since Apple is making a CD-ROM drive almost mandatory for any developer
(not just Apple Partners), I've decided to go ahead and get one.  Before
I take the plunge, I thought I'd solicit comments on CD-ROM drives from
the net.
I'm aware of the problems with the NEC portable CD-ROM drive, so no need
to rehash that, but if you're aware of any other drives to avoid, by all
means, let me know.
I'd like to know about such things as speed, audio CD capability,
compatibility with Apple's drivers, and compatibility with the HyperCard
CD-ROM toolkit.  Also, for those of you in the SF bay area, could you 
let me know where you got it and the price?
