Lines: 18 I am trying to impliment a networked application using HyperCard. I have found out that if HyperCard can see a path to a mounted disk on a network it will use it. I have a MicroVax (Ultrix) file system mounted on a PC using PC-NFS and in turn that file system mounted to the TOPS Network, it really works!. I also found out that if you lock a stack (file) from "GET INFO" everyone on the network can "view" the stack. Question: Is there a way to lock/unlock a file from HyperCard? Another unrelated question: If the memory is increased from 1Mb to 2.5Mb in a Plus how much speed increase will I experience using HyperCard? Also what effects would "RAM cache" make and what would be a optimum value. Thanks Harold Trollinger
