Why don't you use the second line of the status box to indicate that the project is being updated? I'd like an option in the Project type dialog that sets what I can do to the project - build, go, build as application (I keep two projects, or more, around for each application. I use one in the environment and the others for various stand alone applications. I really hate it when I'm in one of me 'build' projects and I absent-mindedly hit cmd-b and it proceeds to rebuild my entire project while I'm eating lunch. Arghh!)
