My experience with 4.50 on an M/120 has been terrible. After installing 4.50 I spent the next two weeks getting to know the MIPS customer support people REAL well. Eventually, we got workarounds for the most serious problems, but it's been pretty ugly. I should point out that overall, I've been impressed with Mips customer support. The fact that I did get workarounds in a reasonably timely manner speaks for their ability to track down and resolve non-trivial problems. It's not their fault the release wasn't as solid as it should have been. -- Tony Andrews uunet!dunike!onecom!raid5!tony Array Technology Corp. 4775 Walnut St., Suite B Boulder, Colorado 80301 USA
