I'm seriously considering buying a NeXTStation Color (I can't afford the
Cube with NeXTDimension) but I am rather discouraged by the fact that I
can't use NeXT's optical with it.

Is there anyone who has successfully used a third party optical drive
with the NeXT?  Could someone tell me what type of headaches I'm in for
if I attempt this route?
