Unfortunately, in it's default configuration it doesn't seem to like even the most basic VT100 esc sequences. The screen may be cleared by sending a particular sequence, but the host I connect to dosen't necessarily provide this. I would like: 1. To know if there is a way to configure these beasts to do VT100, and how to do it. (FYI, there are 2 8-bit DIP switches, 2 bits determine terminal emulation, and all but "Visual 200" I have never heard of!) 2. To know how to program the function keys. I'd like to be able to the above by software, on my PC, via the data port ioon the terminal, if poss., but I welcome any suggestions...! _ || martin@comp.vuw.ac.nz ' )--,--, _/_ || Victoria University / / / __ __ / . _ || Wellington, New Zealand / / (_(_/|_/ (_(_(_/ ) || martin@actrix.co.nz -- _ || martin@comp.vuw.ac.nz ' )--,--, _/_ || Victoria University / / / __ __ / . _ || Wellington, New Zealand / / (_(_/|_/ (_(_(_/ ) || martin@actrix.co.nz
