Thus, for example, since ten point is a little small for me, I routinely set the default font to be Computer Modern Roman twelve point. However, this has some unexpected side effects in that it doesn't redefine the size of math mode $...$ and $$...$$ stuff. I know I can tinker with \textfont, \scriptsize and \scriptscriptsize to handle this problem for the math mode families, but is there any easier way to handle this problem?
