Summary: Asking the impossible under LaTeX? Keywords: LaTeX, TeX, forms Message-ID: Date: 2 Oct 90 15:18:03 GMT Sender: usenet@lonex.radc.af.mil (USENET Account) Organization: RADC Lines: 13 Nntp-Posting-Host: cassiopeia.radc.af.mil Am I trying to make LaTeX do something it can't do? I would like to make a form overprint .tex file that will let me place the desired text correctly over an existing form. I tried using the picture environment, but couldn't get it to make a full page picture that would start at the bottom-left corner of the page and accurately place the text where I want it. Is there another way to accurately place text on a page (using x,y coordinates?)using LaTeX, or am I trying force a square peg in a round hole? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Capt Jeff Long longj@lonex.radc.af.mil | | Rome Air Development Center (315) 330-7751 | | Communications Networking Branch (DSN) 587-7751 |
