I tried to latex a program fragment using \tabbing. Declaration \tt
would have no effect at all, and I could not get that fragment
to be \displayed or centered. I tried \mboxing which failed, and
\quote would not work either.

Is it reasonable to have \center \tabbing without manually
putting in more tabs? Can also someone tell me why \tt would not
work?
