The only responses I got said the problem was probably due to the large partition (both C and D are approx. 63 MB RLL). Well, last night I reformatted my hard disk and repartioned drive D so every partition was less than 32MB (Drive C is still 65). I am still getting errors when doing certain operations on Drive D (like copying from C to D) but I made a permanent swap file on D and it worked fine.
