There isn't really enough information for me to know exactly what is going on, so I would like to ask you some questions... 1) Was this a one shot deal, happens intermitantly, or can you reproduce this at will? 2) Does it happen to just one document? 3) Do you have sections in the document(s) it happens in? I would appreciate it if you could get a copy of the file and any instructions you might know that caused it to happen to Mr. Ross Opperman who works at Product Support down under. Mr. Opperman can then send this file to JohnMCB here at MS Corporate Campus. We have all kinds of tools to let us know what exactly is corrupted in a file. If we have steps to reproduce it, we can then fix the problem. I don't really have a handle on what the problem is at this point in time. I tried what your email said on one of my documents and everything worked, but that really doesn't mean much! Good luck, and thank you for helping us to make Word For Windows that much more bullet proof! ..brandy thorp
