Keywords: win3, open port error Message-ID: <5953@vice.ICO.TEK.COM> Date: 4 Oct 90 17:00:38 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Tektronix Inc., Beaverton, Or. Lines: 16 Every now and then, for not apparently consistent reasons, WinQVT gives me an unrecoverable application error message and quits. If I kill it and try to start again, win3 gives me a COM port already open message and I won't be able to run QVT again until I restart windows. Question, is there any way to stay in windows and re-initialize a COM port? How? Thanks in advance. -- Mike Mueller mike@vice.ICO.TEK.COM || tektronix!vice.ICO.TEK.COM!mike Tektronix, PO Box 500, 59-420, Beaverton OR 97077 (503)627-3187
