Tech-Source makes a board called the GDS-3950 which drives several high resolution color and monochrome displays, such as: Sony 2048 x 2048 color display Tektronix GMA 201 2048 x 1600 monochrome display The GDS-3950 is a single size 9U card, with complete software to run and accelerated version of X11R4 in many of the Sun machines which support the VMEbus (Sun-3/1xx, Sun-3/2xx, Sun-4/110, Sun-4/2xx, Sun-4/3xx, etc.). The board supports up to 20 image planes fully configured 8-bits double buffered plus 4-bits overlay. For more information contact: Tech-Source, Inc. 442 S.
