(The tenth will be in any day now.) I have some of the Mercury Living Presence LPs for comparison to the CDs. Overall, I'd say that Wilma and company have done a remarkable job; the CDs range from very, very good to astonishing. At this rate, I'd say that digital will "arrive" (for audiophiles) within the next five years, for all but the most hardened vinylphiles. I love both media, have a special place for vinyl, but wish digital well. If we "do it right" (Theta's phrase), I'd say that there's little reason to worry about the future of fine music. --David -- My opinions belong to me...and vice versa.
