Some data from a TEC manufacturer catalog: With the hot side of the TEC at 27 degrees C: "No-load temperature differentials range from 67 degrees C for single-stage TECs to over 135 degrees C for multi-stage TECs." The catalog contains a 1-stage TEC which can give a no-load 67 degree C differential @ 14V and 5.3A. The heat pumping capacity of the unit is 48 watts. They also spec a fan cooled 'cold plate' with a temperature differential of 38 degrees C @ 12.5V, 8.5A with heat capcity of 60W. - Dave Manley {uunet|pyramid}!optilink!manley _
