The September issue of the PWAC "Newsline" gives a strong clue as to why there 
hasn't been much news on the "African Cure" or "Wafer," as it's called here --

+  A 100 patient multi-site study in Kenya has NOT been able to
+  get the same results as were claimed.

+   A 500-patient CRI *here* is getting reports that the 
+   participants feel "just about the same" after several 
+   months of oral Alpha Interferon ... they are not showing side effects + 
and their blood-work is not showing anything unusual one way or the
+   other.
