according to the SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS of ~two days ago the USMC
is grounding all of their harriers both overseas and stateside.

there is a sensor aboard which prevents (so i'm told) the infamous
snap-roll-during-hover maneuver that plagued the harrier when it
was first introduced...

i'm sure someone has more info... i'm just a grunt.
