Particularly, I've heard of a system that reads the Reuters news wire, but I can't recall the reference. Perhaps it was presented at AAAI this summer, but I can't find anything in the proceedings. Who knows the author, references? I do know about old Yale FRUMP system of De Jong that read the UPI wire, but don't know of a citation index that would show who cites it. I'll post a summary if there are responses and interest. Thanks!
