Try awf, a nroff {-man,-ms} clone posted recently to either alt.sources or comp.sources.unix. It consists of a shell script driving an AWK program (!). I'm pretty sure it will work on MessDOS using Ian Stewartson's Bourne shell and either GAWK or Rob Duff's AWK. It won't be quick, but it does handle man pages nicely. --richard
