Try notifying the VP or Marketing, Sales, or even the CEO as to why you are taking your business elsewhere. It does work ... surprising how many hotels are beginning to inject some sanity into their telephone rip-offs (er, make that "surcharges") when a few guests contacted the owner or franchisee.
