i am planning to use either Sudkamp's or Drobot's book for a course
on formal languages and syntactic analysis. The course will be an
introduction to formal lang theory and its uses in parsing techniques.
I would appreciate if anyone who has used either (or both ) books
can share their experiences with me. I am particularly interested in
students' reactions to the books (readability , exercises etc.).
