I'm writing a report for my Linguistics course and would like to include IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) symbols within my LaTeX document. I have some p.d. code to generate custom characters for LaTeX, but I can't get the symbols to sit on the line properly ... besides, I'm a poor font designer! Does anyone have/use/know of an IPA font for use within LaTex? Replies to: aiihmr@aipna.ed.ac.uk or this group please. Many thanks!
