Has anyone successfully ported gcc and g++ to an Encore Multimax
running UMAX V (their System V system)?  

I have made an attempt at building gcc and g++, but I have had major
problems when linking gcc compiled code with code compiled with other
compilers (e.g. X Windows libraries supplied by Encore).

If anyone has any information, I would appreciate hearing from you.
