Hi,

We use "rn" as our news reader (if that matters).  About half the time if I
reply to a news artical ("r" or "R" command) the mail will bounce.  I am not
the news/mail administrator, but I have noticed that somethings system names
get put together in odd ways.  Forinstance I work on a local system called mars,
but our mail/uucp server is odetics and I have seen references to
mars.odetics.com in some messages.  Our administrator thinks this OK.  I think
the two problems are related.  Is my administrator correct (this is OK) or is
this some kind of a configuration problem?  Any hints would be appreciated.
