Lines: 11 A few months back our mail system was down for a longish period (about a week or so, if I remember correctly), and when it came back up, we observed that a few people received receipt mails from the mailer confirming mail delivery. I have never seen this before or since, and it could have just been a fluke that we saw it then. However, can anybody tell me if there is a standard method of getting a mailer to confirm mail delivery? I would not want this all the time, but there are occations when it would be useful.
