Anyone looking for a moderately bizarre way to spend a bit of free time (and I suspect that anyone who wants to see Wayne Newton, yet realizes that the only way to take him seriously is as a joke, is likely to be warped in the correct direction) would be well advised to check out the Liberace Museum. Imagine an almost incomprehensible concentration of high kitsch and bad taste, elevated to an art form. Well worth a visit. The only positive thing about Las Vegas, in fact. Why *does* DECUS end up in major loser cities so damned often? (The preceding rhetorical question is for whining purposes only; I'm well aware of the reasons, which have been discussed ad nauseam on a number of previous occasions.)
